It should be a great day for the Saskatoon Forestry Farm and Zoo as well as the city’s food bank. Admission is free from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and visitors are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items for the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre. The Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon is sponsoring the day with activities and entertainment planned from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Meanwhile the Saskatoon Zoo Society has activities for children to learn more about the animals. Cougars Malcom and Jethro as well as grey wolves Buddy and Zepplin will be in the Nutrien Ark and the zoo also has some new meerkats. Regular fees will still apply for parking, strollers, wagons and fishing.
