The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is returning employees to their previous scheduling systems in response to challenges with the Administrative Information Management System (AIMS) that were raised by health care employees. The move was directed by the provincial government, in partnership with 3s Health and the Ministry of Health.
The AIMS system gave health care workers issues with their scheduling. The system will still be used by around 50,000 employees for supply chain, finance, payroll and human resources.
The change affects around 7,000 employees in the former Kelsey Trail and Cypress Health Regions. The targeted return date for the previous scheduling system is November 30th.
