Social media reports are indicating that a fire has broken out at the Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Mill. The mill is located at the junction of highways 55 and 903.

Images show that the fire is impacting not the mill itself, but a pile of logs.

CJWW has reached out to the Meadow Lake Fire Department, and MLMP, for comment, but we have yet to receive additional information.

The Meadow Lake RCMP detachment says it has been busy all day at the scene, but no further details can be provided at this time.
