Two men sent to hospital following shooting at busy Saskatoon intersection

Saskatoon Police were called to a parking lot on the corner of Warman Road and Assiniboine Drive Thursday for the report of a shooting.

Officers arrived at 4:30 p.m. to find two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was inside a business and the other was in a vehicle in the parking lot. Both were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police say the suspect or suspects had fled prior to their arrival, and members of the Serious Assault Unit, Forensic Identification Section, and Patrol are continuing to investigate.
