A Saskatoon man is the latest to win the $5 million Lotto 6/49 prize.
Satnam Singh is the second person to win $5 million in Saskatchewan in less than a month. He was dropping his cousin off at the airport when he remembered that he had a ticket to check.
He then scanned the ticket on his Lotto Spot app, and like many other past winners, he immediately assumed it was $5000 before realizing what he had won.
Singh, a new dad, says he only started buying tickets recently, when his child was born, and he’s excited for what this means for his family. He bought the ticket at Kahkewistahaw Gas & Convenience at 10-2150 Markham Ave. in Saskatoon.
