The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a fire at an autobody shop early Wednesday morning. The call came in at 5:00 a.m. from the 600 block of Avenue O South.
Arriving firefighters could see smoke and flame coming from the roof in the rear of the building.
Fire crews attacked the fire from the exterior and checked the attic space to ensure the fire hadn’t extended elsewhere in the building. Fire officials say the fire was brought under control with limited damage to the business.
The fire is completely extinguished, and no one was hurt. A fire investigator is determining the cause, origin and damage estimate.
