When the early-season, University-style, schedule resumes Friday for the Saskatoon Blades,  the Bridge City Bunch will be without sophomore, 17-year-old centre Cooper Williams (pictured).

He is listed as week-to-week with a lower body injury, according to the W-H-L’s Weekly Report, suffered back on Saturday in Medicine Hat. The Blue and Gold host Red Deer Friday at 7 o’clock at SaskTel Centre. In addition Wednesday, the Blades re-assigned 17-year-old defenceman Brant Caswell to Whitecourt of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. The Blue and Gold will also visit Brandon on Sunday.
