The Saskatoon Police Service says officers responded to the 100 block of 21st Street East at 4:15 p.m. after getting a report about a man pointing a gun.
Officers located a suspect, and police say in a news release that he was in possession of a sawed-off rifle and ammunition.
A 34-year-old man is charged with Point Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition, Prohibited Possession of Firearm, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
