Woman dies following vehicle-pedestrian collision in Saskatoon

A woman has died in a Saskatoon hospital following a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian Wednesday night.

Shortly before 10:00 p.m., police were called to the area of Idylwyld Drive North and Circle Drive for a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.

Officers arrived to find the woman suffering from life-threatening injuries. Lifesaving measures were attempted; however, she was declared dead at the hospital a short time later.

Police will not be releasing the woman’s name. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and police are continuing to investigate.
