Select Bestway, Intex and Polygroup Above-Ground Pools, 48-Inches and Taller, are being recalled as a drowning hazard. Anyone with one of these pools is advised to immediately contact Bestway and Coleman, Intex or Polygroup to request a repair kit. Consumers should ensure that children cannot access the pool unattended or, until the pool repair can be installed, drain it.

The compression strap that surrounds the outside of the pool legs may create a foothold, allowing a child access to the pool, posing a drowning risk.

As of July 17, 2025, the companies have not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the companies have received 3 reports of incidents and 9 reports of drownings.

Approximately 266,000 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 5 million were sold in the United States.
