Although there are many things to do at Etters Beach, swimming is not one of them right now. According to the Provincial Healthy Beaches map, swimming at Etters Beach, which is on the north end and on the west side of Last Mountain Lake, isn’t allowed right now because of an increase in E. coli. Sunnyside Beach at Emma Lake was dealing with E. coli earlier this month, but the report says as of July 7th, it has been safe to swim in. Heading into the weekend, the report says there are no other issues at Saskatchewan’s public beaches.
