Deschambault Lake RCMP is asking the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of 26-year-old Maverick Eninew. He also goes by the name ‘Mavvy’.

On Wednesday shortly after four in the afternoon RCMP responded to an assault at a home in Deschambault Lake.

They found a seriously injured man who was declared deceased at the scene. He has been identified as 39-year-old Steven Michel. Police say the suspect and victim, who were known to each other had gotten into an altercation.

Maverick Eninew is now wanted on warrant for one count second degree murder. He is known to travel to Deschambault Lake and Prince Albert.
