On June 13th, Warman RCMP responded to an assault with a weapon at a business on Centennial Drive North in Martensville. Officers arrived to find an adult male victim with stab wounds and a male youth who had also been assaulted. Both were taken to hospital; the adult’s injuries are serious but not life-threatening, while the youth’s injuries are non-life-threatening.

Investigators say two suspects, an adult male and a youth, entered the business and a physical fight broke out with the victims. The incident is believed to be targeted, not random.

Both suspects were arrested, the youth at hospital and the adult at a residence in Martensville. A third youth was also arrested but later released without charges.
