Help from the public sought with locating missing female from Big River First Nation

A 40-year-old female, who was last seen on June 5, has been reported missing with Ahtahkakoop RCMP asking the public for assistance with locating her.

Michelle Ahenakew (pictured) was on the Big River First Nation at about mid-day when she was last seen on June 5. According to a Saskatchewan RCMP news release, Ahtahkakoop RCMP received a missing persons report regarding Michelle Ahenakew Thursday morning. She is described as being five feet tall and 150 pounds with brown eyes, long brown hair and a scar above her left eye. Michelle Ahenakew is known to travel to Saskatoon, Shell Lake and the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation. Anyone who has seen Michelle Ahenakew or knows where she is, is asked to contact Ahtahkakoop RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
