The Saskatoon Fire Department said in a late Thursday afternoon news release that the fire is fully extinguished and crews have left the scene.
The fire at the family-owned business in the 800 block of 56th Street East started on Wednesday morning. It was initially reported that the fire started on the roof, however the exact area of origin remains undetermined.
The building is a total loss and a portion was knocked down to aid in the putting the fire out.
A fire investigator will examine the scene on Friday to determine a fire cause and make a damage estimate.
