The Provincial Government says the minimum wage in Saskatchewan will go up to $11.06 an hour on October 1st. That’s a rise of 10 cents. The government uses an indexation formula to calculate the increases each year. Right now, Saskatchewan’s minimum wage is the lowest in the country. If nothing else changes, come October 1st, Nova Scotia will replace us at the bottom with their minimum wage of $11.00. On that date, Alberta will have a minimum wage of $15.00
