The Saskatchewan Research Council contributed $887 million to the provincial economy in the 2023-24 fiscal year. That’s according to an economic impact assessment from the SRC which also states the contribution has been more than $15.5 billion in combined economic and employment impacts since it began these assessments in 2003.
The annual revenue for the second largest research and technology organization in Canada was $83 million.
Minister responsible for SRC, Warren Kaeding, says “The Saskatchewan Research Council is dedicated to growing and strengthening Saskatchewan’s economy through research, development, and demonstration through the transfer of innovative technical solutions, applications and services.”
