Nicholas Belanger, one of two men wanted on an outstanding warrant in connection to a break-in, assault and theft involving a gun, was arrested Tuesday in Alberta and was in court Wednesday in Swift Current. RCMP are still on the hunt for 28-year-old Matthew Neufeld.

The two men were wanted in connection to two incidents. On October 25th police received a report of a firearm discharged during an altercation on Herbert Street and on October 29th, at 6 a.m., RCMP responded to a break-in at a home in Swift Current.

They say multiple people entered the home with a firearm and assaulted two occupants inside. The gun wasn’t discharged, but the suspects stole cash and a vehicle which was recovered shortly after. Police say if you see him, do not approach. Report all sightings and information about his whereabouts to police by calling 310-RCMP or anonymously to Crime Stoppers.

Twenty-eight-year-old Matthew Neufeld. Matthew Neufeld is described as approximately 5’8″ tall and 145 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
