An update to a story that CJWW News first ran last Thursday, Pierceland RCMP located and arrested 42-year-old Lorne Singer at a residence on Big Island Lake Cree Territory Sunday.

He had been a fugitive from police since last Tuesday when Pierceland RCMP officers responded to a report of an adult female, who who had been forcibly confined at a residence on Big Island Lake Cree Territory. Singer faces 10 different charges, 11 counts in total, in relation to the forcible confinement and assault – including multiple firearm-related charges. Singer was scheduled to appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court Monday.
