Every October, lovers of both Halloween and history gather at the Diefenbaker Canada Centre to take part in the Centre’s annual ghost tours.
Autumn Pinto, DCC Spokesperson, says the University of Saskatchewan campus is home to over 15 urban legends and supposed ghost sighting stories.
“My favourite is the Woman in the Well who comes from Saskatoon’s real-life cold case. She is said to haunt the archaeology building, looking for a young archaeologist or anthropologist to solve her murder.”
The tour starts off at the DCC, continues through the Bowl, onto the Museum of Antiquities, the Archeology Building, and over 10 more sights where people have claimed to see spirits.
Pinto says tours run every evening between October 24 and November 1st between 7:00 and 9:00pm. To register, visit the programs and tours page of the DCC website. Tickets are $15 each.
