Looming colder and possibly snowy weather has prompted the City of Saskatoon’s three golf courses to move up their closure by several days.
All three courses will be done for the season after Friday so as to allow and ensure fall maintenance is complete prior to drops in temperature and the arrival of moisture. This will give the golf courses the best opportunity to provide quality conditions for the start of the 2025 season. Driving ranges at Holiday Park and Silverwood will remain open through October 27. Closure of City of Saskatoon golf courses rescheduled to Friday, October 18, 2024

The City of Saskatoon’s three golf courses (Holiday Park, Silverwood, and Wildwood Golf Courses) have rescheduled the final day of operation from Sunday, October 27 to Friday, October 18, 2024. The change in weather forecast has accelerated the original plan to ensure fall maintenance is complete prior to drops in temperature and the arrival of moisture. This will give the golf courses the best opportunity to provide quality conditions for the start of the 2025 season. The driving ranges will remain open until Sunday, October 27.
The last day of operation at each course is as follows:
Silverwood
- Silverwood Front 9 – Friday, October 18
- Silverwood Back 9 – Closed for the season
- Driving Range – Sunday, October 27
Holiday Park
- Front & Back 9 – Friday, October 18
- Executive 9 – Closed for the season
- Driving Range – Sunday, October 27
Wildwood
- Front & Back 9 – Friday, October 18
The City would like to thank all patrons for their support this year. Holiday Park Golf Course pro shop will remain open throughout the winter season from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday for Club 6 Pack, gift card and season pass purchases.
