A missing boater on Peter Pond Lake over the weekend was found deceased.
The 61-year-old man from Buffalo Narrows was reported missing on Friday to Buffalo Narrows RCMP. A Saskatchewan RCMP news release said officers found the man’s boat idling in Peter Pond Lake. The officers were joined by local residents and conservation officers with the Provincial Protective Services Branch in the search for the man in the water and along the shoreline. The man’s body was found Saturday in the water. His family has been notified.
