A 77-year-old man has been charged with two counts of attempted fraud following an incident in Moose Jaw.

On June 5, the Moose Jaw Police Service executed a search warrant at a hotel in Moose Jaw and arrested Dwain Wog of Hinton, Alberta.

Wog was charged with one count of Attempted Fraud over $5000 and one count of Attempted Fraud under $5000.

The MJPS also discovered that Wog also had active warrants from Alberta for charges of Fraud over $5000, Breach of Probation, and Failure to Appear in Court.

Wog has been remanded into Police custody and was scheduled to appear in court today.
