The Saskatoon Police Serious Assault Unit is investigating an aggravated assault that happened early yesterday (Tuesday) morning.
At 6:50 a.m. police responded to reports of an unknown problem in the 800 Block of Confederation Drive.
Upon arrival, officers say they found a 17-year-old boy on his front lawn with a stab wound. He was transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The boy described the person who stabbed him as an Indigenous man in his 20’s, wearing a black Blue Jays hat, black Champion sweater, and blue jeans.
Police say this incident is not believed to be random in nature.
