Two men and a woman are facing charges following a break into a Saskatoon mall early yesterday.
At 4:30 a.m., police were called to the 300 block Confederation Drive. Police say two people were seen using tools in an attempt to gain access to an ATM inside. Arriving officers surrounded the mall and saw two men matching the suspects’ description as they exited the building. One of them got into a waiting truck.
A traffic stop was conducted, resulting in the female driver and suspect passenger being arrested. The second man, who was nearby on foot, was also arrested.
A crowbar and gas-powered saw were located inside the mall, and although the ATM was observed to have been damaged, the suspects had failed to access its contents.
