Canadian Western Agribition finances are in the black for the second year in a row.
There was a net profit of $75,000 last year, just slightly lower than the $83,450 in 2022.
This is Agribition Chief Executive Officer Shaun Kindopp speaking at Wednesday afternoon’s annual general meeting in Regina.
Total attendance was 142, 807 for the six days—the most since 2005.
Kindopp says even though there is a lot of competition for sponsorship dollars, Canadian Western Agribition remains an important brand.
Kindopp notes there were several new initiatives last year, such as a golf tournament and the Canadian Animal Agtech Awards.
