According to a survey completed by ADP Canada, the National Work Happiness Score for February has remained roughly unchanged month-over-month from January.
Results show that Canadians are at a 6.7 out of 10 when it comes to satisfaction in the workplace. In January, that rating was at roughly 6.9.
Heather Haslam, Vice President of Marketing at ADP Canada, suggests that these numbers could stem from Canada’s winter weather, with less socialization and time spent outside.
When breaking the results up by location, workers in Atlantic Canada are the happiest at 7.1 out of 10, whereas Saskatchewan residents fell to 6.7. When it comes to the happiest age group, people 59 and older claimed to be at a 7.7, with Millennials and Gen-Zer’s coming in at 6.6.
