This spring and summer, Saskatoon Police are going to increase their attention on cyclists. Especially at night. Officers will be watching for cyclists in alleys, on sidewalks, and whether or not they are following the rules of the road. An increasing number of break-ins to sheds and garages are being committed by thieves on bicycles; bike thefts are up; and businesses are complaining that cyclists are not following traffic laws. So, police will be stepping up enforcement all across the city.
