At the beginning of every calendar year, Discovery Seed Labs in Saskatoon produces a report on germination and vigour statistics from seed samples submitted following harvest.
That report was presented last Thursday at the Saskatchewan Seed Growers Association annual meeting in Saskatoon.
So far, seed quality is looking good. There is some disease in cereal and pulses . . . but they mostly come in at manageable levels.
