Saskatoon Police are investigating a suspicious fire which happened over the noon hour in the Meadowgreen neighbourhood. The Fire Department responded to a detached garage fire at 12:46 p.m. in the 200 block of Witney Avenue South and found a fire on the exterior of the building. It was brought under control at 1:04.

A Fire Investigator deemed the cause and origin as suspicious and handed over the investigation to the police. Fire damage is estimated at $8,000.
