The next Coffeetalk will be on the radio December 27th, so let me take this opportunity to wish you a  Merry Christmas!   As the song goes, it’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, the Season to be Jolly, at least we hope so for most people.   In these times of inflation and high interest rates, there are those who are less fortunate and/or who don’t have family to share in the warmth and good will of the holiday season.  Those who enjoy good health, who make a decent living and have families close at hand are very fortunate.  Count your blessings and be thankful.  All things considered, this is the best country on the planet and when I think about it and look around at what’s happening in other parts of the world as 2023 comes to an end, I feel lucky to live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I work in the never-boring world of broadcasting and while managing this radio station for the past many years I still get to voice my opinion on these Coffeetalks as well as help to bring back memories through the magic of music on Sundays.  I plan to recharge my batteries as another year comes to an end and I hope you can as well.  On behalf of myself, my wife Bev, son Patrick and his fiancé Crystal, daughter Michele and her husband Sam, and “light of our lives” granddaughter Ariella, let me wish you health, happiness, and the best Christmas you could ask for.
