While John Gruden exudes confidence when he talks about his team, the Hamilton Bulldogs head coach knows their Friday semi-final opponent is good, too.
Good enough to beat them in the opening game of the Memorial Cup a week ago. Gruden knows that the host Regina Pats are playing better since that game…just as his team is. He also knows that Regina has a top line that bears watching.
That Pats top line includes former Saskatoon Blade Cam Hebig, captain Sam Steel…the tournament’s leading points scorer…and leading goal scorer Nick Henry. Friday’s winner meets Quebec League-champion Acadie-Bathurst on Sunday in the final.
