Shortly before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night, Melfort RCMP reported an increased presence on Park Bay East in Melfort in relation to an ongoing investigation. There have been no updates but at the time, traffic was being blocked off from the Park Avenue area with roadblocks in place at Groat Drive and Park Bay West in Melfort. The public is asked to not approach the area. The increased police presence will continue for the next several hours while an on-scene investigation takes place. No injuries have been reported to police in relation to this investigation.
