Cyclist dies in collision with truck in Regina

The Regina Police Service is investigating a fatal collision between a bicycle and a truck that occurred Saturday morning.

Shortly after 9:30 a.m., an officer on patrol said they discovered an adult man lying on the road in the area of 6th Avenue and Angus Street. EMS transported the victim to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries several hours later. Officers say the driver of the truck remained on scene. The Traffic Safety Unit and Forensic Identification Unit is investigating the incident, and the area of 6th Avenue and Angus Street is once again open to motorists.

Anyone who has information, but has not yet spoken with police, is asked to contact the Regina Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
