Turner Valley RCMP received a report of two cow carcasses that were dumped after being slaughtered, about 70 kilometres southwest of Calgary.

Photos from the RCMP Livestock Investigations Unit show the brands on both animal’s left shoulders had been tampered. One of the cows was black and the other red.
