Woman severely injured in collision on McKercher Drive

Late Monday afternoon A 71-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries after an accident in the 700 block of McKercher Drive.  Police issued a news release shortly before 5 p.m. to notify the public of detours for traffic southbound on McKercher Avenue after an SUV collided with a parked vehicle.
