The Regina Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance following a weekend firearms offence.
On Saturday at 10:25 a.m, police were dispatched to a residence on the 1500 block of Elphinstone Street for the report of an injured man. Police say they were told the 25-year-old man was suffering from a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, police attended to his non-life-threatening injury and then EMS took him to hospital.
Through investigation, officers determined that the male suspect had fled the scene, and a firearm was not recovered. Investigation continues and anyone who has information on the incident is asked to call Regina Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
