Battlefords RCMP responded around 11 p.m. Sunday night and say officers determined a vehicle with several people inside pulled up to an occupied parked vehicle around 16th Avenue and 93rd Street and a gun was shot, injuring a man in the parked car.
The suspects took off and t he injured man was transported to hospital by ambulance. Police later found the suspects and attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled. It was later disabled north of the city and three people were arrested.
The charges for 18-year-old Tiger Mooswa from North Battleford include attempted murder with a firearm, flight from a peace officer and dangerous driving. Eighteen-year-old Isaiah Nicotine from Cando and 22-year-old Zhakary Knight from Moosomin First Nation are charged with flight from a peace officer and dangerous driving. Their first court appearances were Tuesday.
