Saskatoon Police are investigating the city’s ninth homicide that occurred Saturday morning.
At 5:50 a.m., patrol officers were called to a residence in the 100 block of Mackie Crescent for the report of an injured man the backyard.
Police say they located a 38-year-old man, and he was transported to hospital. He succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information on the homicide is asked to contact the SPS or Crime Stoppers.
