Thanksgiving Powwow taking place in Prince Albert

A Thanksgiving Powwow is being held at Prince Albert’s Art Hauser Centre this long weekend.

Today there will be two grand entries at 1pm and 7pm, and tomorrow only one at 1pm.

There are six dance categories including Golden Age Senior, Junior Adult and Teen, and five special categories such as Women’s Jingle and Men’s Grass.

There is over $80,000 in prize money to be won, and the event is put on by Northern Lights Casino.
