Saskatchewan RCMP have brought a mobile temporary detachment to Richmound after learning of a suspicious group in the community.

The group is sometimes referred to as the Kingdom of Canada, and RCMP say they have received numerous calls related to this group’s presence in the community over the past two weeks. These calls were for events such as assault, threats, and suspicious persons.

The detachment will be staffed 24/7, and officers are also conducting regular patrols throughout the community.
