Saskatoon Police have charged a third person in connection with a shooting incident that happened last July on the 23 hundred block of 33rd Street West. A 27 year old man was taken to Royal University Hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Tyler Applegate later died and the incident became Saskatoon’s third homicide of the year. Police began looking for a black Nissan Titan truck with a black bumper that may have been involved with three occupants inside. Nearly a month later, the truck was located and seized. It had been stolen out of Prince Albert. Earlier this month, two males were charged with manslaughter. Yesterday (wed), a female was charged with manslaughter in the case. She is to be in court this morning. The investigation continues.
