La Ronge RCMP are investigating a pedestrian and vehicle collision that occurred yesterday (Fri) afternoon.
Just before 4:00 p.m, RCMP responded to a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle at La Ronge Avenue and Nunn Street in La Ronge. Bystanders stopped the lone, adult male driver of the vehicle to stop him from leaving the scene on foot, and he was arrested at the scene. The male victim was transported to hospital with injuries described as serious.
La Ronge RCMP, alongside an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist, will continue to conduct an on-scene investigation. Officers say access to the area near La Ronge Avenue and Nunn Street will be inaccessible as this happens.
