Over 2000 people have died in Morocco after the strongest earthquake ever recorded to hit the country. It had a magnitude of 6.8 and hit while communities were asleep.
Rescuers are combing through mountains of rubble searching for more survivors and victims, and the Moroccan military and emergency services are enacting aid efforts to the damaged areas.
Rescue efforts are being slowed by collapsed rocks which are covering the roads.
Messages of support are rolling in from around the world, as the death toll is expected to rise into the thousands.
