A Saskatoon man is facing charges after being arrested for trafficking cocaine.
On August 3 at 8:45 p.m., poolice observed a drug transaction take place, and conducted a traffic stop on a Cadillac Escalade being driven by the suspect on Circle Drive near 33rd Street West.
The suspect was arrested, and police located cash and an edged weapon inside the vehicle.
Half an hour later, a search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence in the 1600 block of 37th Street West where police located pre-packaged cocaine, hydromorphone tablets, cash, drug paraphernalia and other items consistent with drug trafficking. as a result, a 26-year-old Saskatoon man is facing 5 charges and further charges are expected as the investigation continues.
His charges include:
· Trafficking in Cocaine
· Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
· Possession of Hydromorphone for the Purpose of Trafficking
· Possession of a Dangerous Weapon
· Possession of the Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
