After four days advance voting in the three by-elections, there is a particularly strong turn-out in Regina Walsh Acres with 2,202 people casting their ballot ahead of voting day which is this Thursday.
Advance voting takes place again today and so far, Lumsden Morse constituency has seen 1,268 ballots cast while 1,886 people turned out to vote early in Regina Coronation Park.
Voting on Thursday is from 9 am till 8 pm. From noon to 8 p.m. there will be another round of advance polls open.
Elections Saskatchewan says a total of 630 vote by mail applications were approved before the August 1st deadline to apply.
All three ridings had Sask. Party MLAs. The Lumsden-Morse by-election is needed because Lyle Stewart retired in March for health reasons. The Regina Walsh-Acres seat was held by MLA Derek Myers who passed away this spring. Mark Docherty announced in February he was stepping down as MLA for Regina Coronation Park.
