A dangerous person alert issued by Onion Lake RCMP this morning (Thurs) has been cancelled. Police were looking for 35-year-old Randy Cooke who was believed to have a firearm. Residents of Onion Lake Cree Nation were asked to stay inside and away from windows.
RCMP say Cooke was located around 4:30 this afternoon, so the SaskAlert has been cancelled and there is no public safety risk to the community. The investigation is ongoing.
