Meadow Lake RCMP responded to a report of a woman in crisis in Green Lake Friday night around 10 and when officers located her she was threatening self-harm. An RCMP news release says officers used non-lethal force to bring her into custody and connect her with appropriate care. Her injuries were not life-threatening and were treated in hospital.

As required by law, the Serious Incident Response Team was notified of the incident. Meadow Lake RCMP will continue to investigate and the SIRT will monitor the investigation.
