A Prince Albert man is facing several charges after a search warrant located stolen property at his home. On Tuesday, the Prince Albert Police Service Proactive Policing Unit conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of 6th Ave East. Through investigation, police ended up at a residence in the 500 block of 10th Street East where they executed a search warrant.
There, officers say they seized firearms, ammunition, and tools that they will continue to match to break and enters in and around the Prince Albert area. As a result, 28-year-old Tyson Tobey is facing numerous and made his first court appearance Wednesday. The investigation is ongoing. His charges include Possession of Stolen Property, Trafficking in Property that was obtained in the Commission of an Offence, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Breach of Probation, Breach of Conditional Sentence Order, and numerous firearms related charges.
