Saturday morning at 3:00am, Ponteix RCMP received a call about a break-and-enter at a home in the 200 block of Street East in Ponteix.

Police say the suspect was described as a male in his fifties, who was between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build. His face was partially covered with a mask, but police say he had a short pepper coloured beard. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket and coveralls.

As officers are conducting patrols, interviews, and inquiries, they are asking the public for assistance in locating the suspect. Anyone with information on the crime or surveillance video of the incident are asked to contact the Ponteix RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
